<analog.eyediagram />
<analog.eyediagram /> declares how an external runner should fold a voltage
waveform into an eye diagram. It references an external
<analog.transientsimulation /> using
spiceEngine="pcb_spice" and a voltage probe in the same subcircuit. Rendering
declares the measurement; it does not produce an eye plot or a compliance verdict.
Example
Import analog from "tscircuit". This fragment assumes the board already defines
the external transient named DDR, the modeled receiver U2, and its physical
DQ and GND pins. The experiment must record the full 40–160 ns measurement gate.
Use <analog.digitalstimulus /> for the driver's traffic.
import { analog } from "tscircuit"
export const ReceiverEye = () => (
<>
<voltageprobe
name="DQ_RX"
connectsTo=".U2 > .DQ"
referenceTo=".U2 > .GND"
/>
<analog.eyediagram
name="DQ receive eye"
simulationRef=".DDR"
probeRef=".DQ_RX"
unitInterval="2.5ns"
timeOrigin="0ns"
startTime="40ns"
endTime="160ns"
/>
</>
)
Properties
| Property | Description |
|---|---|
name | Required measurement name. |
simulationRef | Required selector for one external transient experiment in the same subcircuit. |
probeRef | Required selector for one voltage probe in the same subcircuit. |
unitInterval | Required positive bit interval. Numeric times are milliseconds. |
timeOrigin | Required fixed time origin used to align eye windows. |
startTime | Optional nonnegative gate start; defaults to the experiment's recording start. |
endTime | Optional positive gate end; defaults to the experiment's end time. Must follow startTime. |
The gate must lie inside the experiment's recorded interval and contain at least
one complete two-unit-interval window aligned to timeOrigin. Increasing the gate
captures more transitions; changing timeOrigin changes their alignment.
